Dash vanity address generator
Create a real Dash address that starts with, ends with, or contains your own pattern — generated on your machine. No accounts, no telemetry, keys never leave your device.
How Dash addresses work
Dash P2PKH addresses are 34-character Base58Check strings that begin with X. The first character is fixed by the network version byte.
The generator runs entirely on your device; the private key is exported as WIF and never transmitted.
Alphabet: Base58 (58 symbols per position). Typical shape: XDash….
How to generate a Dash vanity address
- Open the web generator or run
npx vanity-address. - Choose Dash (
dash). - Enter a short prefix, suffix, or contains pattern using the Base58 alphabet.
- Check the ETA, grind, then verify the result before using it.
npx vanity-address --chain dash --suffix Dash
How long will it take?
Each extra character multiplies the work by about 58. Times below are illustrative at one million keys per second; your device may be faster or slower. Use the difficulty calculator with your own speed.
| Pattern length | Expected attempts | Average time @ 1M keys/s |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 58 | under a second |
| 2 | 3,364 | under a second |
| 3 | 195,112 | under a second |
| 4 | 11.3 million | 11 seconds |
| 5 | 656 million | 11 minutes |
| 6 | 38.1 billion | 11 hours |
| 7 | 2.2 trillion | 26 days |
| 8 | 128 trillion | 4.1 years |
Tips for Dash
- Keep patterns short — four characters is already tens of millions of attempts.
- Case-sensitive patterns are rarer; ignoring case roughly doubles your odds for letter-heavy words.
Safety
Whoever holds the private key controls the funds. vanity-address creates keys locally from your operating system's secure random source and re-derives every address on the CPU before export. The exported file is a plaintext secret: keep it offline and never commit or email it. Read the security model before moving significant value.
